iProdTech provides Reservoir and Petroleum engineering support to UK based operator to integrate reservoir and surface network models via industry leading software

iProdTech are providing support to a UK based operator to build Integrated Asset Models combining reservoir simulation and surface network / process models. This work is at the forefront of the industry, helping to provide better and more integrated field models for business planning purposes and production forecasting. Instead of providing forecasts from a simulation model at constant rate or THP / FBHP, it allows the true impact of the surface facilities on the subsurface to be calculated. Various constraints can also be applied on factors as wide-ranging as composition limits on export streams to individual well controls on GOR or drawdown. It also helps to create a culture that is truly ‘integrated’, where data is shared freely between disciplines and uncertainties are carried from the reservoir to the facilities and final production forecasts.
