Sand Management Plan for an Oil field in North Sea

Integrated Production Technologies Limited (iProdTech) has been requested by a global E&P company to conduct a study to assess the cause for sand production in a recently completed well and provide recommendations to avoid such sand production in future wells. iProdTech has also been asked to provide support on a field-wide basis in the following areas:

  • Review historical field data and investigate if sanding behaviour is related to the reservoir, the well design and/or management;
  • Update the existing start-up and bean-up procedures;
  • Review the existing sand detection equipment and practices and associated recommendations
