iProdTech were asked to assess the reasons for the difficulties in obtaining conclusive results from a formation testing tool under a specific set of conditions. Through collaborative consideration of the formation permeability and petrology, drill-in fluid’s design and behaviour, logging tool selection and application, results from other logging tools and general operational procedure, iProdTech proposed clear reasons for results that were seen and guidelines for future logging programs in similar conditions.
