Production Technology Support for a Subsea Field Development

iProdTech have been requested to provide production technology support for a subsea gas field development, offshore Western Australia. The project is due to enter FEED stage in near future and iProdTech will be working on an early-opportunity screening of reservoir completion options in order to minimise re-cycle of well designs during the FEED to FID window. The high level scope of work includes:

  • Detailed well modelling to derive optimal lower completion dimensions, fluid velocities at the sandface, requirement for zonal isolation or other inflow control technology, and well temperature modelling for verification of flow assurance studies
  • Review conceptual sand control work completed to date, and identify follow up core testing or data acquisition plans
  • Review new or emerging technology for reservoir / well performance monitoring in subsea high rate gas field developments, including use of fibre optic or tracer technology
  • Input to well reliability estimate, well intervention strategy and OPEX assumptions
