Completion Risk Analysis

iProdTech have been requested to provide support in review of completion operations risk assessment process for an ongoing deepwater oil field development. The planned wells include gas/water injectors and oil producers with different levels of complexity – ranging from single zone conventional to multiple three zone intelligent completions. The objectives of the project are to

  • Review the current completions risk analysis, risk register and assessments
  • Review the lessons learned to date
  • Perform gap analysis to identify missing risks and potential completion failures
  • Review industry best practice (incl. other high risk industries) and identify risk analysis improvements
  • Implement an action plan to manage the hazards and risks

The project is aimed at delivering an effective risk mitigation strategy which will help minimise non-productive time in future completion campaigns right from the start.
