Well Review and Production Optimisation Exercise

iProdTech has recently completed a detailed well review and production optimisation exercise for a middle east operating company for their onshore, fractured carbonate development. The project included detailed review of ca. 30 wells and focussed on artificial lift, stimulation and water shut off opportunities. Historical field, reservoir and individual well performance were evaluated to determine a ranked list of candidates for well intervention and workover. iProdTech used a field proven and structured approach to evaluate opportunities across the entire well portfolio including in-country workshops with the operator subsurface, well engineering and operations teams.

A ranked list of over 50 opportunities were identified with significant incremental oil gains predicted. The operator is currently implementing several of the short term opportunities for data acquisition and production optimisation, and is conducting further detailed technical studies on the longer term workover candidates.
