Gas Lift Study

iProdTech were commissioned to undertake a gas lift study, the results of which are being used to support a FEED study for well workovers/re-completions and facilities upgrade. Specific analyses to be performed included:

  • Assessment of the preferred gas lift injection pressure.
  • Determination of the optimum gas lift rates over the expected life of field conditions.
  • Developing high level conceptual gas lift completion designs including retrofit options and recompletion options with optimum tubing size, the expected number of unloading valves, etc
  • Generating a forecast of expected gas lift requirements for the life of field.

The study also included a review of the installed facilities’ processing capacity and comparison with the current and future expected well capacity with gas lift. Recommendations were made regarding future facility upgrades to handle the additional potential due to gas lift introduction.
